Saturday Snippets 5 October 2013

5th October 2013 by Jax Blunt 4 Comments

{watching} Dark Star for #familyfilmnight. Regretting it. Cult in this description appears to mean really really bad. The family was united in their opinion though, and Small has reached a stage that he can sit with all of us and laugh about it, rather than going off to do something else.

{eating} burger and Lidl wedges. Well, it worked last week!

{reading} What a wonderful world. Check back tomorrow to find out how you can get your hands on your own copy ๐Ÿ˜‰

{shopping} on a Saturday. With two small children. Oh what joyful fun that was. And as for the other small child in the trolley that learnt Smallest’s name and then shouted at her all round the shop, well, just thanks for that.

{practising} photography. Enjoyed some time in the garden this week, with the actual camera, off auto. Even got some pictures I quite liked.

{savouring} the sunshine.

{trying out} a new more structured day. The first week has gone reasonably well.

Big has started making some lovely bead material to work with Smallest, Small has started using a learning diary to keep track of what he’s up to during the week. Smallest has graduated to pants, with only one disastrous episode in the entire week, and Tigerboy has his first proper shoes. They have eaten a hole in his foot, which isn’t quite so good, but he loves them.

If you’d like to share your snippets, I’d love to read them.

I always mean to do this but can never think of anything. I’m going back now to try harder. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s supposed to be those little things you wouldn’t write a full post about, so anything that springs to mind is good ๐Ÿ™‚
