Now that I’ve found the back button, which is cunningly hidden by virtue of not being illuminated unless you use it, and discovered something that seems very much like swype but is called connected keyboard usage, I’m very happy with the note 2. And as for the above picture, that’s done with a pre installed package too. Isn’t it fabulous?

It worked brilliantly as a satnav on the way to Shropshire, has held wifi much better than a variety of other phones under challenging circumstances, has a big enough screen to make a browser usable and all in all is making me very happy.

Full comparative review with htc one x to come on technology solved next week.
