I’m going to make a list. It will have on it the names, blogs, twitter ids and avatars of everyone I want to meet. I will then require ppl to sign themselves off, as this morning I can’t work out who I met and who I didn’t!
Yes, I’m a little ocd. Shame it doesn’t extend to getting the house organised… I loved meeting all the ppl I met, I just wished I could meet everyone, and talk to them and get to know them properly 🙂
Also, I will have luggage with wheels. To the lady I saw yesterday with a shopping trolley, respect. I struggled back to the hotel with something like six bags, many of which had other bags in them. And when I went through them in the hotel there was very little to throw away, so that was good too. In fact there was lots of useful stuff, I hope to do a proper round up post with links later.
Sadly, probably much later, as when we get home, I’m running round preparing for camping, and then shooting off to 1553 at kentwell hall. Busy, busy this home education lifestyle you know 😉
So, what did I enjoy, and what did I learn?
I loved the photography session with Jay Mountford. I’m hoping that some of the pics I took will be good enough for me to get a photo book from my sponsors, Photobox, to remember the day by. I’m also hoping that whoever it was that took the fab pic of Smallest kissing a baby will let me have a copy, but I can’t remember who it was!
The blogger to blogger inspiration session was great too, shame it clashed with activism though, as I’d have liked to go to that too. Was great to meet some of our activists though, particularly local girl, Karen Cannard 🙂
Good selection of brands, running some fab competitions too. Can’t believe I didn’t win anything though! Nice to spend some time chatting with the team from Ubisoft, as well as Jo and the folk from Three. (Which reminds me, the app competition on their facebook page is now open, all the app ideas are fantastic, but I’d be particularly grateful if you’d pop over, like the page, find the on the go mums tab and vote Family quest 🙂 )
And now we’re nearly home. I’ve a sleepy Smallest on my knee and more to do than I’ve time to do it in. nothing new there then…

Are you strict about no twitter in 1553 or do you sneak it in under your kirtle?

No twitter while the flag’s up, and nowhere to charge phones, so I will be a bit rare…

I met you, I met you! it was so nice to meet you. wasn’t it a great event. I went to activism which was excellent but gutted I missed blogger to blogger… yes, a shopping trolley is a must. I ended up getting a cab to station – I never get cabs, just to transport all the goodies. Of all the bags and all the stuff (see my silent sunday) my son loved a lollipop the best….

Was good to spend some time with you, though very odd to be doing it in such different circumstances!
