Getting back on the (blogging) horse with a 30 day challenge – welcome to Blogtember!
It’s been a bit quiet around here hasn’t it? Part of that is because we’ve been away at Kentwell – even my instagram went quiet then.
But I’ve also lost my way here a little, again, which happens from time to time. To try to persuade me to get my words and posts flowing, I’m taking part in a 30 day challenge along with Hannah Elizabeth and Katie from Katie’s World (Do feel free to click on through and check out their sites too.)
I used to blog every day – I’ve no idea how to be honest! And I think this is going to really push me to get my act together again, as I don’t want to post just anything for the sake of posting.
Things I will be writing about: books. In fact, I’ll be back later this evening, or possibly tomorrow, with a review of Lynda LaPlante Good Friday. I’ve a couple of book blog tours lined up as well.
Home education. Big will be going into her second year of sixth form, but the other three remain home educated, with a small tweak for Not-so-smallTeen who will be attending college classes one day a week to do GCSEs in English and Maths. So I’ll be talking about that, and I also want to do some posts on resources, hopefully with assistance from some other home ed bloggers.
Reviews – I’ve a few toys and things coming in for review. And our second Blogger Board Game set arrived today, so after we’ve had chance to try that I’ll be writing it up.
Art. I want to talk a lot more about what I’ve been doing, what I want to be doing, and where I see my art going. Just as soon as I figure all that out for myself.
I’m sure there will be a few more things that I’ll think of as I go along, but given that’s how I’ve been doing this for 14 years now, that won’t come as much of a surprise to anyone. If you’ve any requests for things you’d like to see me writing about, do let me know ๐
And with that, roll on September!

I can’t wait to read them all!

Thanks Hannah!

I thought of doing a 30 day blogathon for September as well. One down, 29 to go. I’ll read yours if you’ll red mine. And good luck. Also best wishes for a successful year to your older daughter and son in their school and college studies. xxx

Absolutely! Will pop over now.

Hello, I did comment yesterday but it seems to have vanished. I might join you in the 30 day blogathon. And good luck to your big kids for the academic year at school and college. xxx
