A world book day surprise with Miles Kelly.

A little while ago I was very pleased to be approached by Miles Kelly publishers to be involved in a secret santa style book swap with other bloggers. I was assigned a blogger to stalk research, and someone else researched us. I chose a book and then waited.

I thought this was wonderful, really beautifully presented. And that makes a lot of difference given the amount of packages we get.

The contents were a bit brilliant too. Whoever chose for us chose really well – Myths and Legends are right up our street. There are sections on Arthur, which Small is really into at the moment, creation myths from round the world and all sorts of familiar friends that I’m looking forward to introducing to the younger children.

Dear Secret book giver – thank you. I hope whoever chose for you chose just as well.

So, along with the news that this blog is currently no 1 in the Ebuzzing literature charts (yay!) and then running a very successful twitter chat with Activity Toys on the subject of World Book day, or books in general, I’ve had a really lovely World Book Day. Thank you Miles Kelly and our secret book giver! And not a dressing up costume in sight. How about you?
