First of all, an apology for the late arrival of this carnival. Next month I’ll do what I did last month and compile up the post as I receive links, instead of thinking, oh, there’s only a couple, that will only take 20 minutes and then getting hijacked by a last minute rush
Anyway, the topic was indoor activities and sanity savers and as you can imagine, we got a wide variety of suggestions.
Hannah recommends a couple of old favourites: lego and hama beads, and shows the variety of ways her children enjoy them with some great pictures.
Debbie points out that the main problem with autumn is just not having the right equipment. I get where she’s coming from, but some days, I just don’t want to go out, wellies or not
Alison and her family like screens Some other stuff too, and thanks for the sticky back plastic collage reminder. I’m sure I’ve got some of that somewhere.
Nic shares a soggy carnival, life before they moved to Rum, and how it works for them now, in a very different environment, living in a caravan on a croft on Rum.
Jo describes her days and gives a top 10 list of indoor activities. Does she have your favourite?
The peas in a peapod are settling down in these twixt and tween times and getting an awful lot done.
And finally, my own contribution. Games, mainly, with a side order of crafts.
If by any chance I’ve missed out your post, I apologise a thousand times, and I’ll rectify as soon as I can. Or if you’ve something you want to contribute please feel free to leave it in the comments. Enjoy!
