Some days life feels like a race. A blindfold obstacle race where someone is moving the markers. Today started withan excellent run (11mins17sec for 1.2 miles) but then deteriorated when it involved education (more painting for Smallest, while both English and maths threw up seemingly insurmountable difficulties for Small and Big was otherwise engaged) . While I was trying to be all things to all people I was also getting organised for Smallest’s swimming, got her poolside by the skin of my teeth.
Home again to pick up big and take her for a sleepover. Glad I checked the fuel levels before we set off as there was 50 miles less than I thought on the range. I decided against playing fuel chicken and added ten minutes on to the journey. Checked it on the way back and I probably would have made it to the garage, but it would have been a very stressful count down!
Back home again to deal with Kentwell forms, now safely scanned and emailed in, then a heap of emails. Going to be previewing some very exciting stuff
Sadly though Small hadn’t done his homework on Newton so I had to quickly do some research on that, while doing housework and packing. I need staff I think. 40 day bag challenge met today by dragging out a bin liner full of other people’s stuff to return.
Drove to the bean’s for history through fog with patchy clear bits, which was somewhat hair raising and had yet another argument with the netbook over connecting to wifi here (it won, I’m using the Samsung Note 2 again).
Still waiting for small children to fall asleep. I feel like today has lapped me.
