I’m already signed up to Run for All.
My sister invited me to take part in December, and I signed up just in time to save myself £5 on the race fee. I’ve been training all year, including while on holiday a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve still not run more than 4 miles. I set out to do 5 on Saturday, but had a disastrous training run and practically collapsed at 4 miles and had to wobble home at a slow walk – I’m now putting that down to the vicious stomach bug that I *hope* I’m beginning to get over. So it looks like I’m going to pitch up in Leeds never having run that far, and not having seen my osteopath in a month, but I guess willpower will just have to do…
I’m running with three other members of my family, and we’re running in memory of our sister Katrin. We (obviously) have a sponsorship page, and I’d be very grateful for your support in whatever form that takes, be it a comment, a share of this post or our fundraising page on twitter or facebook, or yes, cold hard cash.
So there you go. I’m not running Race for Life. I’m running Run for All.
