Is it just me?

“I initially thought he was dyslexic and took him to be tested but, because he could not read very well, the test did not work and they could not determine whether he was or was not.”

???

Does this mean that if you can’t read because of dyslexia no one can test if you have dyslexia?

I read that and thought exactly the same!!! It has to be a misunderstanding of the actual test though surely? (Please tell me it is!)

sigh, so the the fact that dyslexia actually means “difficulty with words” has escaped from that particular person then?

Mind you saying that tints can help “scotopic sensitivity” and “visual stress” is somewhat odd too, they are different words for the same damned thing (aka Irlene syndrome or Meyers Irlene Syndrome) ranty ranty rant!
