Oh no…I still remember all the balloons we have lost…it is a trauma that doesn’t leave one, I’ve found and I still fondly hope that there is an inflated Spongebob happily bouncing around in the stratosphere, rather than polluting the oceans.

balloons are a nightmare. we lied because we are pathetic parents.

we have said balloons are filled with wishes and when one pops that is fantastic because all the wishes fall out, and may land on your head, so one at least will come true.

if balloons escape then all the wishes are being towed away by the wish fairies who have wishes to make true, and that is good as well, because the wish fairy always drops a wish behind your ears, so it will come true, just tell mamma what it is and anything over £2.50 is out.

you see? we have been flippin desperate when it comes to balloons. but it has all allowed me to pop them and lose them by accident on purpose.

actually, we are pretty ruthless, aren’t we?

stupid doctor man indeed! has any course of treatment been offered for the inflamed ears? or is it “come back in X weeks if you are no better”
