I didn’t know that frogs made that noise – I had assumed they were not mute (bullfrogs gave me a clue) but that squeak really isn’t ‘froggy’ at all.

Our one of ours used to chase the baby frogs in Leeds. The first time I heard them squeaking I couldn’t for the life of me work out what it was.

it was lovely seeing you. and big and sb did a great job of talking through their game differences this time rather than stropping and wailing respectively, and that was lovely and refreshing!!

We had a cat that caught frogs, was terrified of the scream and let go – we had to rescue frogs and return them to the garden many times a day for a while. The scream is so unexpected isn’t it?

Our Jack Russell likes to catch frogs, I think they sound rather like air squeeling from a balloon. It does however give me a chance to go and rescue them before he does too much damage. ((hugs)) for Bigs behaviour, DS2 does similar, we have a tantrum because he doesn’t want to go to my sisters then another tantrum when its time to leave, I just get so cross, its just not necessary.
