actually it was a ex army vehicle used to deliver fuel and parts to tanks in north germany to keep out the russians

I had the good luck to drive one of these beasts in the Army - it is the most exciting vehicle I have EVER driven - and I’ve driven a few in my time. (Stalwart, Unimog, Chieftain tank etc - all great fun!!)

Yes, I’ve been in one, stood in the back of one whilst we drove across a lake (if you can call it driving). That mesh bit on the back corner actually covers the top of the exhuast, so if you’re riding in the back on a chilly day, stand there.

Oh - and you can mount a gun on the roof of the cab. Only a machine gun but that would do, wouldn’t it?
