Bamboozled Shrug Thing

The title is by Tim

The shrug is by me, for Big.

It’s based on the bamboozled shrug I linked to a week or so back, and I got it out of the Crochet pattern-a-day calendar.

I’m quite chuffed with it - I used the king cole pure baby dk I bought before Christmas. It only used one ball, so I’ve several left over (hm, wonder if there are any other little girls with birthdays approaching who would like one….)

And now I’ve started on a one hour baby sweater, as we still haven’t met RJ and I’ve nothing to give him or his mother yet. I think the pattern should be renamed several hour baby sweater though - maybe it’s that I’m not familiar with basic afghan stitch yet, but I’m well over an hour in, and I haven’t quite finished one front piece yet. Probably means I’m somewhere between a quarter and a third of the way through, so guess it’ll be nearer 5 hours by the time I’m done.

Oh well.

If you’re looking for non crochet related stuff, like life or education or some such, you’ll have to wait til tomorrow.

very pretty shurg. The “one hour” sweater looks like a lovely pattern but I’m always cynical about anything that claims to be able to be done in an hour!
how do you find the “front post/back post” stitch thing? I tried it on something I made for The Beans and hated it, ended up picking up stitches and knitting “proper” ribbing but wondered if it was just me being lame?

very pretty shurg. could you scale the patern up and run a growwn up sized one off to add the Christmas pressie pile?

    What error messages??????

  7. Posted Sun Feb 18 2007 at 12:56 | Permalink

Ahh, yes done it again. wp-comments-post.php produces a page of what look like a php related error (something to do with Spam Karma as well by the looks of it) when I posted the comment - comment does get posted though.

I’ll email you a pdf copy of the error page Tim.

The shrug is actually a scaled down version of an adult one, so is a definite possibility for pressies.

    Error message?

small amount of tender loving care applied to SK. Let me know if that stops the error message?
