I am lucky that I will again be spending xmas with a large amount of family at my house with a convivial atmosphere, only minimal lurking tensions and family dynamics, and the main slant being on enjoying each others company. we do play games, the tv doesn't go on [nor is it requrested] . The children will have plenty enough presents to feel they have a lot, but not loads. We have neither the free money at the moment, nor the desire to do so. And although they re of quite different ages, a number of the presents are being bought to share from the outset by us and other family members. I am also lucky enough to buy small gifts through the year as I see them for the girls. Each to their own Leo. I very much agree with generosity and enjoying we are alive every day.

So I got over a quarter century of items ordered and all of them are stuff my offspring chose and really wants. There will probably be a book or set of books each, and perhaps a watchable (have got her a dvd, but not one for him yet). I've got a couple of crafty bits on order as well. But I'm trying to limit it somewhat, and I don't want to give them a big stack of toys each. Over the last couple of years, my entire family (and there are rather a lot of them) has gone completely bonkers and they end up with enough stuff between them to stock a small orphanage. As they are both utterly unable to get rid of anything, the house is beginning to creak at the seams somewhat.
