Knitty: Fall 2006 - knitting 2 socks in 1

Knitty makes me want to be able to knit (well, strictly speaking I can knit, but it’s a very slow and unsatisfying process).

This article in particular appealed.

    arg,I *so* want to do that! really must work through all hte UFOs first though!!!!

    I want to knit too! I have a mate and she just knits up all sorts of stuff and I am v. jealous. It is such a lovely domestic tableau to see someone knitting..or is it? When I knit I usually end up screaming: “Feckfeckfeck!” and hurling the tangle across the room and stomping out. Knitting is probably the only thing that makes me want to take up smoking fags again;)

    Well, if I’m reading that article right, your problem could well be that you aren’t stopping often enough for chocolate :)

    Anni, I know just what you mean. Am gradually clearing UFOs here, and trying not to start anything that will take long before I get the chrimble pressies out of the way!

    I can’t knit, but something in me made me read that article in FULL! I was transfixed. I think there’s something wrong with me.
