myspace

wandering through the cooperative women’s guild website as a result of trying to find out the history of the white poppy, I noticed a name that sounded familiar. Hm, wonder if she was related to that old school friend of mine, I thought, and idly typed her name into google. Which took me to myspace, and her home page! (Not linking on purpose until I make contact myself :) ) Now, I’ve never really explored myspace before, and I really hope I never have to again. It is entirely possible that I have inundated aforementioned friend with subscription requests and so on, as I tried to figure out how to make contact. What a completely obtuse site! Why don’t ppl just use blogs?

Anyway, I set up my profile with a link to this site, which is why I’m blogging on the topic, in case anyone (please!) follows the link back.

Lol- I just did something similar- had to set up a myspace account so I could make contact with old friend, that had seen me commenting on other old friend’s blog! (which I had found on Google). And I agree Myspace seems pretty useless to me, and wasnt really sure if I’d done the right thing, but maybe it’s just different if you’re used to blogs. I think its supposed to be good at music sharing.
