Simpol-UK: The Simultaneous Policy, globalising peace, justice, sustainability and prosperity.

Now, as far as I can tell this is a good idea, although I’m quite prepared for several ppl to tell me otherwise :?

Accordingly, I’ve signed up and sent an email to my MP suggesting she investigate it too - please feel free to join in.

Apart from making you sound like a Miss World candidate, can’t see why it wouldn’t be a good idea.

rofl! My mp has responded to say she’s going to look into it, although is slightly perturbed that it seems to be lib dems only atm (she’s labour) but given it’s recommended by Chomsky, she likes it on first viewing.

She’s also going to be sending us an invite to her Chrimble bash :)

Hmm…. Haven’t got time to read it properly at the moment, and I can see how it would seem like a good idea at first glance, but I have big reservations about the globalisation of anything, so I suspect that I may be one of your nay sayers ;-) Interesting link though :-)

Good to see you on board Jax. Simpol non-partisan, and is therefore open to ANY MP to sign the pledge.

This article in the guardian is a good intro to it.

Hi Gareth, good to have you pass by.

I don’t think that’s what my MP is worried about - more that if it’s currently only signed up to by libdems, there may be some reason she’s not aware of that labour mps aren’t signing. Of course, it could also be that it just hasn’t reached their awareness yet.

Simpol hasn’t been around for very long, so not a lot of people know about it. There are, however, MP’s signed up from all 3 major parties.
