Running on empty.

a great blog post title, a great film.. And moderately appropriate to the previous blog post theme as well. Don’t you love continuity? ;)

Anyway. This morning was the drive from hell - two hours from here to school due to a catalogue of nightmarish road conditions, closures on the M1, closures in Huddersfield, on the road just above the petrol station I was aiming for, aargh!, queues of traffic using the remaining open country lane…and then another nearly half hour to travel the four miles from school to my office. Thing is I ran in at 10, and my colleagues were completely OK with it - there are other ppl that travel that road, so they already knew the odds were I’d be delayed. Nice ppl.

So tonight’s drive home was so much better, although I am shattered. And must go to bed, but I can’t find my insurance certificate that I need to tax my car, like, um, yesterday. Bother.

And small is so full of cold he’s been up and down like a yoyo all night. Why am I still sitting here????

Was watching TV at 0830 when they reported a crash at J35, and thought about you.

Hope you find that insurance certificate - the fines are automatic now and I dont know how many grace days they give.

Had gone through already - got away early this morning :)

Gave up on looking for it and bought renewal online, so was only a day late, hope won’t get a fine for that!

I think you get 14 days grace. Road tax online is great as it means you don’t have to find anything. Lovely.

I’m always late with it (as in more than qweek) and I’ve never had problem. I do take it to the PO, but then it is opposite our house, i like to support local buisnesses in the village, and it means once ayear I have all the documents togther (actually car docs is one of the few things I can usually find for some reason)

Hm, except for the small fact Chris 1, that the V11 didn’t have the reference number on it that it was supposed to have, so I had to find the V5…
