		<description>They are just much maligned here - I very much liked them when we first got them, but having them as the cause of many battles (although just about anything is the cause of battles here atm :( ) has rather put me off them.</description>

J uses the Exeter maths books too, I like them because they stretch him, he just runs through the normal math books for his age (are they 'much maligned' just by Big or by other home edders?).  J does a page a day atm, but I have just told him he needs to do a bit more as well as we are well behind - mostly due to slack mum syndrome ;-)</description>

		<description>Hannah was 7 before I could truly work at home without having childcare there. I've always done it, (worked from home) but until then it was either a middle-of-the-night thing, or Bob was around, or I paid a teenager to play with her while I worked. Now, while I wouldn't dream of working all day with no one around for her, I can do my two hours every morning, and it's no hassle. Although I try to do at least an hour of it before she gets up, tbh.</description>
