Re mice- the poison makes then thirsty so they go out to die! We haven't seen any corpses(unlike the dead birds that next doors cat keeps leaving us! I toss them over the fence). But you have to not be at all hard on yourself while doing it. At present my goals are: get through the day; not be a crap parent; be professional and skilled at work, and not be distracted.
