I’m not denying that Sarah, although I think you are thinking of a minority there. It’s just annoying me that it’s always the parent’s fault - if you put them into nursery, if you don’t, nowhere along the line can any of the other adults involved with that child bear any responsibility for how it turns out at all….or that appears to be what is often said at these teacher union meeting type things.

and yet I do know families who have used nurseries and schools full time and parent their children excellently, to be fair …

I reckon they criticise other people so much to deflect negative attention from themselves. And to justify their existence. And just because they like doing it. And lots of other reasons too
