I know Tetra-Pak have developed a rcycling system for theirs. Or computer paper/office paper. Or magazines, or junk mail, or glass, or cardboard. I put a cereal box in once and they left the whole bin full with a huge bit of tape across it saying "contaminated" in very large letters. The only things we could actually recycle were newspapers or telephone directories - which, since we don't buy a newspaper, meant our recycling bin was fairly lightweight... I don't actually know the rules about recycling in our new area yet, I suppose I should find out. Have to buy a wheelie-bin first anyway! You aren't supposed to recycle them because the glue bums up the rollers/cutters that the paper goes through at the start of the recycling process.
