Oh, please, please can we get the pushchair then. I've been struggling for inspiration as we haven't sorted that yet. Was on the 'to do' list for tomorrow. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute, eh?

I thought the dew covered everything if the washing was out overnight and left smutty marks. Seems to on mine anyways ;-)

Well done for doing your tent. Our two tents are hopefully going up today so we can clean and dry them as forecast is dry for next copule of days (oh why could it not have been ,like that at HESFES???).
Laundry...my laundry basket is like Mary Poppins' carpet bag...bottomless!!

hanging washing out at night is fine, night air freshens it! and yes, washing is a process not a task, you just keep ticking along with it. I tried the get it all finished angle, ended up with piles of clean washing and nowhere to put it away, seems I need the washing basket/washing line as storage ;o) WEll done for getting the tent away, Tim had ours draped over the junk in the garage for days after our "summer" holiday, couldn't pitch it in the garden....

washing is definitely an ongoing process not a job to be finished, but I still prefer to allocate mine a slot in the week to get done, otherwise it's a process that I *hate* which manages to take over my life ...

so did you get your paperwork done? I hate that too ...

lol, I put washing out in the evening and sometimes even in the rain ;-) Like the cycle process analogy although mine doesn't include ironing!

And totally with you on HE being fab for getting to do what you like the look of - me and Ali were discussing what bits of educating our children *we* were most looking forward to learning ;-)

I like the idea of washing as a process - or maybe a life cycle - wash, dry, iron, wear, wash, dry.....
Good to hear the tent is dry and away too, we went (still go) camping every August bank holiday with a big bunch of people and it often seemed to rain - I remember a few times having 10 or so of peoples tents drying in my parents' garden - sometimes thought we'd never get them down and dry!

Hurrah on packing the tent. Liked the perspective on washing. The washing machine has been on since Monday morning non-stop and I haven't even been camping. The basket is already full again, so I am going to attempt a paradigm shift in my thinking :-)
