peeved now

Took ages to get Small to go to bed - nearly midnight before he passed out. He was very cute throughout, which was endearing and annoying all at once - particularly like the drawing me pictures and coming over to show them to me. I think he might have called Tim’s brother as well. Oops.

Found the paperwork that I was looking for, but either part of it never came, or I didn’t file it in the same place, so I don’t have everything I need to do the submission online. Going to have to do it snailmail tomorrow. Tried to have a game of Set at highergames, and the person I was playing wandered off midgame and played someone else! That was rather annoying.

So having had a less than amusing evening to follow my less than amusing day, I think I’d better call it quits and hope for some sleep.

we are still ploughing through housey things, since elinor so late to bed. alys finally satiated - at last! don’t understand solicitors forms - bad start! so long since we bought this house. do we actually have to physically stump up 10% of house before ours is sold so get the equity and have mortgage for next? hmmmm

    Aw Jax :(
Hope you’re feeling better after a night’s sleep.
Kris and I saw you in highergames last night, but you’d disappeared by the time we’d finished our game.

And Helen, from what I remember, whatever you physically stump up now, you can potentially loose to the seller if the sale doesn’t go through. But if the seller is OK with it, you can make the deposit up from equity released on completion. I’m sure that’s what most people do end up doing though, as there can’t be many that could find the deposit for a house without using equity from their old one. I’m sure that’s what we did, although we completed on our old house three weeks before moving into this one. We did make sure that *we* looked after the money in the mean time rather than the solicitor though, just in case, as I didn’t like the thought of that sort of sum being in limbo.

Not a murmur. I’m trying not to feel desperate - they were interviewing the others last Thurs and deciding on Friday, theorerically speaking, so not hearing yet is *not* bad. It is not.
